Community Advisory Committee (CAC)

Community Advisory Committee (CAC):
The Placer County SELPA Community Advisory Committee (CAC) primarily includes the parents of special education students who are trained in the laws and issues surrounding special education and volunteer their time to be available to parents and attend monthly Placer County CAC meetings. Each school district appoints a member for a two year term and may reappoint members to serve additional, consecutive terms.

The Loomis Union School District is in need of a CAC Representative. Please contact Kelly Booth, Program Specialist at kbooth@loomis-usd.k12.ca.us if you're interested.
 
All parents are welcome and encouraged to attend the monthly CAC meetings held in Auburn. Call Melanie Purdy, SELPA Secretary at (530) 886-5873 for more information.
