Loomis Union School District is pleased to announce that, for the second year running, all four of our Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) implementing schools have earned statewide recognition for their work. Penryn School earned Platinum PBIS recognition for the fourth year running. Loomis Grammar and Franklin Schools earned Gold PBIS recognition. Placer School earned Silver PBIS recognition. The California PBIS Coalition application and review process is a rigorous one and statewide recognition is an honor given to a small percentage of California schools. By earning statewide recognition our schools have shown their commitment to supporting the social emotional needs of students by implementing the core features of PBIS. In this way, these schools are helping to create a learning environment that supports all kids. Please join us in congratulating these sites for the great work they are doing to accept all, educate all, and respect all through meaningful implementation of the PBIS program!
As of October 2019, a complete list of schools will be available on the California PBIS Coalition website.
