Strategic Plan

The Loomis Union School District’s strategic plan outlines the School Board’s priorities, objectives and actions for the next four years 2022-2023. The strategic plan recognizes the expectations of our community, commits to preserve the strengths and traditions of our current educational program, while identifying areas of improvement and focus for the future.

Input is regularly sought from parents, community members, staff and students through surveys. Annually, parents, students and staff are asked to provide feedback on the current academic program through the LCAP survey. Biannually, parents and staff are asked to complete a more comprehensive survey on school climate, the instructional program, support programs as well as extra/co-curricular program offerings.

Each year, the School Board reviews the strategic plan, survey results and test scores to determine annual goals and set budget priorities. It is imperative that we continue to plan and refine our goals and objectives to ensure we are meeting the needs of all LUSD students. By so doing, we remain proactive and progressive in offering the best possible educational program for the students of our community.
