Visual and Performing Arts
The mission for the Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) program is to provide for all students an articulated and distinctive program that engages learning and appreciation for music.
Goals for Classroom Music:
To build a love and foundation for music literacy that will allow for success in upper level instrumental and vocal music
Goals for Beginning Band:
Build a foundation for instrumental music
Goals for Intermediate Band:
Build on beginning band experience to transition into an advanced instrumental ensemble
Goals for Jr. Eagle Band:
Provide a rigorous advanced instrumental music experience that prepares students for High School music and helps them to develop leadership skills
